Mango i avokado: brza svježa salsa

Mango and Avocado Salsa: Sweet, Creamy, and Fresh

Mango and avocado make an unusual but easy salsa. The mango brings a sweet, juicy taste, while the avocado adds a soft, creamy texture. A jalapeño gives it heat, and lime juice adds a fresh, sharp flavor. This colorful mixture works as a snack or appetizer with tortilla chips. It can also be a topping for another dish. To make it, dice ¼ cup red onion and one ripe mango. Dice three peeled, pitted Hass avocados. Seed and mince one jalapeño. Chop a small bunch of cilantro, about one packed cup. Put everything in a medium bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste, then squeeze in the juice of one lime. Mix gently with a spoon so the avocado keeps its shape. Serve the salsa with tortilla chips, or spoon it over another dish. The recipe is simple: no cooking is needed, so the fresh ingredients stay at the center.
